[ARCHIVED THREAD] - What upper could this be????

I jsut saw an advertisement for a Colt LMG upper. What struck me as odd was the upper receiver had an A2 port door, A2 rear sight and the Brunton Bump for deflecting brass...but it DID NOT have forward assist!

Really? Never saw that before.

Colt RO750 light machine gun. It fires from an open bolt so no forward assist.

Well, duh. I knew the LMG fired from an open bolt, but I didn't make the next logical conclusion that FA would not be required due to that fact.
