Alright...Finally reassembled my AR-A1..again...(sent slip ring to get anodized)
Its back together and charges, cocks, whatever works for you (pulling handle back to rack BCG) works fine and dandy... BUT..i put a mag in....ALL of my mags..(USGI's) and the first like..half inch of racking the bolt..it jams...far enough out where you can see the bolt in front of the BC...but the bolt lugs are still in the chamber...it does this once or twice..then it racks...then its does it again..etc. etc. IDK whats causing it...it looks like the right feed lips on my mags are grinding on something but the BCG looks fine.. im stumped

i would suggest re-assembling the bolt carrier group and see if that fixes your problem. this is assuming your mags work in other guns just not this one, and you've got everything properly clean & lubed. also try it with a loaded AND an unloaded mag & see if there's a different result.
