Sounds like a very nice upper.
I can think of at least 3 people from here who might consider buying it.
If it is original and in as-stated condition it is worth quite a premium to a collector.

I'm not going to be buying anything until I have all my medical bills paid for.
My tab so far is over $200K.
Thank goodnes for good great medical insurance!

If I was in the money I would buy it. It is a rare piece, and the real deal. I was happy to find a real RO635 upper.

About 200 are mine.

Well, if I could afford that, I could afford a RR or M16 lower to put it on.  That might be fun.

BTW, shooting a semi replica 633 is highly overrated.  I'm more accurate with a rock than I am with my DOE replica.  I'm lucky just to hit the target frame at 25 yds.  The other guys at the range always want to shoot it though.

It is somewhere between a pistol and a carbine for accurcy. I had one in my old shop and used to make barrels for shorties all the time.

Someone want to explain the design to me please?

Used by the Department of Energy couriers that guarded Nuke materials in transit.  Front sight folded to the rear to prevent snagging when drawing from concealed position - also when folded it would fit in a discrete briefcase.

I still think it is too much, not like it is an original XM177 upper or anything.

The DOEs are cool looking and all but I do not have any use for a 9MM pistol let alone one with an AR lower attached to it.

Box and label do not look authentic.

+1

imho, it's just an unfired DOE upper.  $1500 is more like it, imho.  Guy talks about the zip-lock bag more than the upper

The label is even marked "Colt Defense"!

New production DOE uppers???

Price drop! He has lowered his price! And it has been viewed 18, well 19 times so far!

DOE Upper

I think the guy realized that the hordes of Zombies that he packed this thing up for are just not going to come for him.
