[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Extended Flash hider?

I Have a 11.5" barrel and want to bring it to 16"by pin and weld. Which one of these would bring it to 16"? I cant find the lenth other than the extnded one and they look to be different lenghts.

Got this from Bushmaster website.

Because of the slip over of 3", the 5.5" one only gives you a little over 2" of extended length. I have one that I threaded on to to measure for you and confirmed it.

I doubt the other ones will do it either unless they measure 5.5 and thread directly on the end without any slip over. Even that would be very close.

If you get the Bushmaster one there are 4 options at checkout. You want the CAR 15 extended. It is 5.5 and not a slip over and will work. But 45bravo probably has one that looks a lot better.

I had one of those pinned, non-slipover Bushmaster 5.5" flash hiders. I had to get rid of it because it was so...unauthentic. Get one from 45Bravo, it will look much better. This is what mine looked like:
