I don't think that's a particularly good price, especially since things have come down in the past couple of months. I just sold one of my 604 replicas FTF for $700, and it took over a month to sell. |

Prices seem to be comming back down alittle lately..Here is a set for under $300 start price.

It's too bad sellers that do not know about what they're selling make up things. He says the barrel is chrome lined, by the letters on the barrel (written in the description) it is only the chamber.
ETA: OOOPS, I clicked on the GB ad m1sniper posted, instead of the OP's link. |

Quoted: Prices seem to be comming back down alittle lately..Here is a set for under $300 start price. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=135722884 Yep, that's what I paid for my barreled 604 upper a year ago, pre Obama-mania. |
Just got a pretty nice 604 upper off the EE for $300 shipped. Shouldn't have bought it, nor the NDS-A1 blem lower to go with it, but hey, I have the rest of the parts for the build. The days of $200 upper assys are over I'm afraid, but I'm glad to see it stabilizing at a reasonable level. There must still be some surplus uppers out there, because people are selling them, and I see ads from guys with multiple uppers on GB. I figure I can always sell the build, so it's a fun savings account. I figure I'll have around $550 into this build, even with the higher cost of the upper. Pretty hard to bitch about that. Figure I can get $750 out of it pretty easily by walking around a gun show with it over my shoulder if it comes to that.
