This is my attempt at an XM177E1 clone. It's almost finished. I'm still needing a few retro parts (front pivot pin, magazine catch, rear sight windage drum and dust cover). Eventually I plan on sending the charging handle and trigger guard to US Anodizing and have them redo them in XM Gray. The barrel was done by 45Bravo and he modified the flash hider to slide over a portion of the barrel. It comes out to about 12" in length. Sorry for the crappy pictures. Stickman/Mfingar I am not.

Updated picture. I removed the M4 handguard cap and added an A1 dust cover (thanks WI57).

What is pictured above? I got this when I bought some retro parts and I don't seem to have a use for it.

front pivot pin or rear takedown pin with a spring detent(to be used when no spring detent towers are on a lower)
I bought one off of Ebay and it didnt have the round head like yours, was hoping it would be.

Love the concept...AND the pics!  Inspriational for those thinking/dreaming likewise...

What barrel do you have on it?  Curious on twist and intended loads.

Waiting for range report follow-up...

It was a brand new Bushmaster 16" M-4 profile barrel. 1x9 twist. 45Bravo cut it down and reprofiled the portion of the barrel between the 2 bases on the FSB. I probably won't get a range report until this weekend.
