| My friend is selling this gun, its a low serial # 0010*** anyone have any info on this? i was told this flash hider is no longer legal, true? |

Somewhere on this forum there is a list of what's pre ban and their serial numbers. I can't find it, Maybe another member can help us out.
I did some reseach on this as I own a PWA reciever gun. I'm pretty sure all PWA recievers are considered pre ban and PWA never made complete guns, so the flash hider stuff is crap. Let's see if somebody else can verify what I'm saying, But I'm about 90% sure. So If you buy this reciver, you can put a flash hider, collapisble stock etc. on it. |

Wonder why this is in the Retro Forum ? Without any more info than what's in his post , who knows what he is talking about? The 35222 # is correct . I have a PWA Commando receiver rifle that has an odd FH on it . Shaped similar to the A-1 birdcage except it isn't flared on the end. Maybe that is what he's referring to . Anybody seen this FH ?

They made them during the dark years' and I think you can still get them. |

This is in the Retro forum as PWA receivers are made to A1 specs, and almost all were built up using 'retro parts' due to the age of the lowers. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

One of the guys in the ban states will give you enough for the lower to buy a new Nodak lower. probably two Nodaks. Edit: I just went a looked at Nodak pricing. Hell , two lowers and two retro charging handles for the stripped PWA to the right person . I though they were priced a little higher than that. GB had some going for 5-6 C notes a month ago. I had an offer of a new complete CMMG lower, w/ RRA 2stage,Magpul PRS, and all original LPK peices for my stripped PWA . I passed for some reason or another.

Just ribbing youa little buddy. I have a PWA lower so i am partial to them (and I got mine back when it was a 'preban lower!' during the ban days, and paid a rpetty penny for it!)

No worries Dawg . I got my PWA out and the lower is more like the A-2 style . It is a higher serial # lower that falls in under the 35XXX # by a few thousand. It's nothing like my slabsides . 
I just got mine , paid a decent price for it. Not smokin', but decent. Has a good feel to it, like a real deal AR should . |
