So heres the story,
I built up a Dissapator from a M1S barrel and stuck a A2 upper on it with a nice set of Triangle hand guards on it. I have 1 of the old slick side no forward assist uppers made by colt lying around and so I got to thinking..... I love the feel and the look of retro guns, my question is was there ever a Factory Dissy Colt with the A1 slick side uppers? The A1 is either going to be put on the dissy or on a mint condition SP1 barrel assembelly I have. What would you guys do and does any 1 have a picture of the mentioned slick side A1 Dissapator. |

Here's a 605 clone (15" barrel).

I just had one of these barrels cut down myself for a BM style dissy clone. I haven't decided on which way to go yet... either an A2 upper and A2 buttstock, or a flattop upper (w/carry handle) with M4 tactical stock? |
