so what are they selling for these days? i have a 71 cmp b barrel fantastic shape thinking of taking it to the local show to try and get a m4 upper for it would it be a fair trade?

your barrel is most likely worth more than just an upper, perhaps as much as twice the cost of an upper. Were you asking about trading it for an just an upper reciever alone?....<><....:)

yes i just want to trade this complete upper - the bcg and ch for a complete m4 upper - the bcg and ch.

I would think you'd have a better chance of making a trade like that on the EE here than locally.
