I just got a few misc lower parts from Sherluk today - among them was a bolt catch/release. Anyone ever see one like this? It's completely flat on the front, and serrated over the entire thing. It reminds me a little of a 601 part, but the whole thing is straight instead of tapered, and serrated completely as I said. Oh, and it's grey. Sorry for the poor quality pic.

Weird. I'll be interested to see if anyone knows anything about that.
I was thinking about ordering some things from Sherluk. Their site actually shows that they have some barrels in stock, but I don't know how long it'd take them to ship. How long it take from order to receipt for you? |

About 10 days according to their order - Took about three weeks start to finish - slower than usual, but considering that they actually filled the order in 3 weeks and they are as slammed as anyone else, I'm not complaining. I bought all the little minor stuff like extra pins, springs and detents that I was missing as I already had some lower parts. They have LPKs for I believe, $59.95 - I might buy one from them.
They didn't charge my card until they filled the order. 1/2 I ordered it, 1/12 they filled the order, received the parts today, 1/16. I emailed them and they had no record of the order, so I sent them a copy and they found it and filled it a few days later. I get the feeling from talking to them on the phone that they are tearing their hair out like everyone else. |
