Does an A1 flash suppressor with slots all around need to be perfectly aligned like an A2?? Or do I just screw it on tight and that's it.

I tried messing with that. You can get them pretty darn close, you just don't want to over tighten it, and rip out the threads...which you can do if you have the barrel in a vice block. You best bet is to get it close, tight, and sling some lead.
