[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Retro Selector?

I am looking for a selector for an M16A1 type build (so I am not looking for the early type with the dimple), but all I can find are A2 style selectors with the indicator mark on the opposite side. Is there a current production version of this type of selector?

There are manufacturers that have "unintentionally" offered these from time to time.

I don't believe that there are too many that offer them as a standard, but if you post a WTB in the EE you may have some luck; that's how I acquired one.

I saw some on gun broker that would be perfect for your build. They don't have the notch on them.
