Well I went and ordered one of their uppers a couple weeks ago. The rear sight came drifted all the way to the left so we will see how it shoots when I get the rest of my parts. The is finish is black on the receiver so I don't know if I want to have it refinished and get a lower from nds or not. I thought when I ordered it I made it clear that I wanted one of their (very good) uppers. I was charged for a very good one and they knowingly shipped me a good condition upper. I am mad about this and don't feel this upper is worthy of a lower from nds. What to do.
So here are some pics.

Sorry for the big pics. Any comments welcome.

Well, the invoice says "good condition" and it appears to be in that condition if not a tad better.  Here is the NRA grading scale for very good and good:

Very Good - all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised; bore disregarded for collectors firearms.

Good - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned or reblued; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; wood refinished, scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.

If your unhappy with it, send it back.  OOW will do their best to make you happy.  Perhaps there was a misunderstanding when you ordered?

Yes there could have been some misunderstanding about the condition I wanted but they sent me an upper that was marked good, the invoice said good and I was charged $275 they are asking for their very good one. If I had paid 250 for one in good condition and they sent me this I would really be pleased. Anyway if I sent it back I would have almost $40 into shipping.

I think that upper is consistent with a rating of "good".  OOW got a bunch of crap earlier for labeling (or mis-labeling) nsome of their uppers new or excellent, and they appear to have corrected that.

Call em up and ask for Megan.  They will correct it and pay for the return shipping or refund you the difference if you decide to keep it.

FWIW, both the upper and barrel have been refinished.  The price you paid is probably fair for this.

I'm sorry, but who is OOW and how do you get a deal on these uppers? Do they come with a BCG? Thanks, and sorry for hijacking.
