Does anyone know if Dimpled takedown pins would be correct on my XM-177e1. I just lucked into a pair of originals.HookMech

I'd say no. The XM177e1 did not appear until around 1966 and dimpled pins were passe by then.

ETA: One of the only known examples of an original XM177E1 barrel around here.

Change that to a Birdcage FH and that is EXACTLY like the one I was issued in 1983 with the 2nd Ranger Bn.
