I am about finished collecting the parts I need for my 601 build. I only had 2 questions about some small components I've noticed on the 601 that I didn't find an obvious answer to on the extremely helpful guides I've seen both here and on retroblackrifle.com... They are: 1) Some pictures of the 601 I have seen have a grenade spring behind the flash supressor and some 601's don't. How many of the 601's were made with the grenade spring and is it necessary to have one for my build? If I do need one, where is a good place to get one? 2) Where can I get a lock washer? I have a bunch of crush and peel washers, but no extra lock washers. These don't seem to be readily available online and there are no gun shows near here for a while. |
#1 - With or without. I imagine these grenade launcher spring rings were installed and removed as needed. If you want one, Sarco had them when I was looking for less than 2 bucks. #2 - I bet Sarco could set you up with a bucket of lockwashers. Beware however, Sarco can sometimes be slow in getting the backorders to you if that's the case. |
