Sources for safety selector with no indicating line or notch on the right side???????
I called and emailed almost every company I can think of but nothing yet.
Still waiting on Sarco to let me know if they have any.
If you know of anyone who has some right now please let me know. I am thinking of milling off the end of one that has the line on it but not sure if I will remove too much material from the end. If anyone has done this let me know.

I've read that others have had good luck posting in the 'Want to buy' section of the EE. You might also post in the 'Want to trade' section that you'll trade your selector for one without the notch.

Heatnbeat has been selling ones with divots on both sides that look great. They do not appear to have had a notch before he machines them. Maybe ask him where he gets them. Or buy one of his, you won't regret it.

Yes, do the WTB thing in the EE, I have place two separate ads at different times & had good luck within a week or two.

Also look through the boxes of selectors at the gun shows in your area, most of them there are w/notches but you'll get lucky every once in a while. I found 4 from one vendor at one show I went to.

There are a couple on GB right now, just use "retro" as your search topic & you'll find them.

I find them at the gun shows. There's always a parts guy with lots of M16/AR parts. I dig though his selector bin and find the no slot variety.

Try Olympic arms, the lower parts a friend bought from them had no notch.

Last time I checked with Essential Arms, they were out. So was Olympic.

Took a chance and ordered a Olympic from Midway.

No notch.

Thanks, I went to E.A. and talked with the owner and he didn't have any. I am looking at the ones on GB. There is also a gun show this weekend at Alex. so I am going to look there first.

Model1Sales has notchless selectors. I got one from them at Knob Creek this fall.

Oly has them without the mark. Picked up five earlier this year at $13 a pop plus shipping.

Like mentalstampede said, Model 1 sales had them. I got one in a kit about a year or so ago.
