I went to a local shop and they had a really nice looking custom rifle using the following: 1. Lower Receiver & Butt: LMT Defender 2000 SOPMOD & 2 stage trigger 2. Upper Recever: VLTOR VIS-2A (monorail) 3. Barrel I'm not sure, but he said it was one of the best on the market His price was 2k, but after doing some part price searching for the specific parts I mention, the price seemed a couple hundred high to me, unless custom building a gun (labor) costs makes up the remaining cost or I missed some parts required to put it all together. I'm just trying to figure out if that's a reasonable price, and a good setup for target shooting. Some of his stuff in the store seems very reasonable in price Also is the parts selected for this gun good? From the sound of things I read on many forums, it looks good. Though some people like other parts better.. ie lower receiver using Daniel Defense. Note: No sites included, but maybe I can talk him into throw in MI flipups sites.
