An analogy:

Lookin' at those bolt assemblies then looking at my serrated RRA in my GUU-5P clone

is like:

Watching "The Girls Next Door" and then rolling over to my wife!

UXB, that applies to you also. Somehow, I find myself drooling over those pics. Is that normal?

The first two on the left were SP1 lowers.  The last two on the right are A2s modified to XM16E1 specs for my XM607s.  One has already been re-anodized by Victor.

One of the SP1s now belongs to BD's 601 project and the other is gone, too.  Just acquired a PWA A1 lower in XM grey anodizing by Victor so it will not require any mods or machine work.

I will have one more to mod to XM16E1 specs and one to mod to M16A1 specs, get them re-anodized, and they'll be ready to start assembly.

Will certainly clear up a lot of the small pieces/parts lying around when they all get finished...

Not too many.  Haven't seen one in quite a while, but I don't get out like I used to...

UXB, what brand of lowers are you modding to the XM16E1?

Need to get something worked up for my GUU project.
