I'm studying to be a mechanical engineer and after a good semester of engineering drafting I started to wonder if anyone had any complete blueprints for an A1 or even an old slick side rifle. I know I once saw someone had a scan of original Colt Blueprints here.

Thanks,
M.S.

There is also this, which I can't open here at home, but it looks like older format stuff:

Just make your own model from the .pdf print if you feel like getting to know your CAD software better.

btw I'm an engineer also.  I've been out of school for a few years now.  I do some mechanical design when they let me.

Thanks! If anyone else has any more I would love to see them.

Yeah right now the university has me in a lot of the basic general education requirements and pre-engineering requisites. I just can't wait to get into the meat and potatoes of my major!

I think CNCgunsmithing.com has a bunch of IGES files for a number of AR parts.

Look around - its out there.

I think if your willing to share you will find many freinds! It would make making parts easier and thus further proliferate this beast called the AR15...
