I have a complete and original 1964 Mfg'd Colt SP1, the only thing I'm not 100% sure about is the charging handle. Did they use the trianlge shaped one then or the type similar to the ones used now?

Cool, that's what I thought. When I inhereted the SP1 it was in a box, in pieces. The only CH with it was a old, Colt mil surp one in the package w/o the latch. I bought some Colt parts for the latch and put it together and it's been on my rifle since.
