I will begin this post by saying I have tried to do a little research and I am still looking for more information. The post by Dawg180 regarding the PM markings was quite helpful as well as all of the info from Captrichardson and Ekie regarding upper markings in general. I went to a local shop today and in one of the cases sat a nice little A1 upper. It was in the back under some other parts and it wasn't priced. I asked the owner how much it cost and he replied with "How does $45 sound?". I then proceeded to hand him the $$$$.  It has a black finish that is not the re-finish of the Sarco uppers but a pretty black even finish. The rear sight is a Rapidex. I am pretty much looking for who made this one? Why it was made (US Contract?)? When it was made? Thanks for the help. Now to the pics:
