I thought I'd lose some shoot ability with the short buffer but with the sling pulled tight against my jaw it really stabilized it and I was quite surprised. Running supers? or planning to run subs as well?
What do you think of the barrel? I'm in the market for a new one. My first 300blk barrel I got from KAK, and I'm not terribly impressed with it right now. Could clean up a little with use and polishing, but I think I want to drop down to about 8-1/2". |

Supers only, no plan for subs.
The barrel seems fine for what it is, but I honestly wasn't sure what to expect out of a $100 barrel. I had read a pistol comparison somewhere on line and this barrel performed favorably. I only sighted in at 20 yards indoors, will have a better idea on it when I get to the outdoor range. I also have a KAK ss 8" 300 barrel for a future build, hoping I like it. Finish looks very nice on it. I gotta say this Elf trigger is something else. I like it a lot better than my Geisselle. On the other hand I love Glocks so what do I know about triggers! |
