I've been sitting on a stripped lower for a little while now. For Christmas today, my wife and daughter got me a Phase 5 pistol buffer kit and lower build kit. Also got me a CNC milled billet aluminum pistol grip from Tyrant (it's friggin awesome!).

I'm eyeballing the Adams Arms 7.5" piston upper in 5.56. Might pull the trigger and order it later today.

I'll top it with either Trijicon or Eotech. Want to have a nice toy to play with.

I was going to say that grip was going to get mighty cold but maybe not so much in AL.

I like it! I just started my second AR build but my first pistol. It's going to be a 300BO plus im going to build a 22lr 9" upper also to use on that lower. All my 300 upper parts are due to ship tomorrow I hope. I'm going to use the Xproducts new version of the Matrix side charge. I bet it's made in the same factory.
I have always wanted to try the Mega trigger, so I also got a nibx hammer and disconnector, going to try JP low power hammer springs to start. Plus I went with the KNS pins because I plan on wasteing a lot of .22LR through this lower. The trigger feels pretty amazing! No takeup, no creep and very little reset yet the disconnecter is engaging very well on reset.
