Hey guys and gals,

What's everyone's favorite lower?  I'm looking for a new pistol project and can't find a lower that screams buy me.  Anybody have a lower with a nice finish, rollmark, etching/engraving that they like?  Just looking to see what the masses like and if I have similar taste.

My favorite lower is a 80% lower with no name or serial number on it. I just finished one and built a pistol 3 wks ago.  Sig brace, 10.5" bbl on an Anderson upper and a Geissele S3G trigger.  It runs great!

I used the Universal Easy jig from 80percentarms.com and one of their lowers.

When Santa delivers my next 80% lower next week, I'm going to finish it and build a 6.5 Grendel with a Geissele SSA-E trigger.

Good luck on your build!

Guns should be like Democrat voters. Either black or brown, and mostly undocumented.

Aero Precision Ambidextrous lower:

PrimaryArms carries them along with a discounted PDQ ambi bolt release.  Also has the lawyer notch to support the BAD-ASS-ST....

My favorite so far.

I've always been partial to the ArmaLite M-15 lowers for builds, I get them for $150 each locally...

The Spartan Lowers for 130 are pretty good looking. . .

It's a lower. Anything over $50 is the roll mark talking, or CNC billet.

Now, the upper is where it all happens. Like a Gibbz sidecharger . . .

Look at Quentin Defense. Nice billet and non-billet lowers

I've got ones from Spikes, RRA, Stag and PSA and I've had Mega and Bushmaster as well. All worked fine. The Mega was probably the nicest finish and cleanest machining. Unless you want something billet or ambi or otherwise fancy then I don't think it matters much.
