A friend of mine has a neuromuscular disease and has lost the use of his right arm. He shoots trap with 28 gauge o/u and does pretty good. He wants to try using a 300 blackout pistol for deer hunting. Will be shooting under 100 yds.
Question: Can you install a bipod on an ar pistol legally without a stamp? Talking about a standard bipod not the ones that are a vertical grip with legs that can be extended through the bottom. PS got my 8" 300 bkout barrel today so my first pistol build is one step closer to completion. Got the one from law-guns.com. 8" 4150 1/7 nitrited finish. For 108.00 delivered, can't complain. http://www.law-guns.com/ar-15300blackout8pistolbarrel.aspx Thanks JBL |

One thing you should do is research the hunting laws in your state.
Some (like Colorado) have "power factor" restrictions and caliber restrictions. 8" barreled 300 BO might not make some states restrictions. Other way around might be handicap hunter waivers. You need to check your states regulations. |
