OK, so what I am building ISN'T a pistol, it's a SBR mostly. I can use it on my pistol lower, but it's primary use will be as a SBR.
OK, now that's out of the way, I am looking to buy (another) FF rail that I can mount a suppressor on...
I have a 7.5in barrel and I ended up purchasing a Troy Viking Tac 7.2in rail.
So I need a rail that is flush with the end of the shoulder (not the threads) or JUST set back from the shoulder. Several have suggested that ANY rail that works on a carbine with a FSB will work but I don't think thats true.
The Troy rail is a quarter to a third of an inch too long.
Does anyone else have a set up like this? I have a SilencerCo Saker but it mounts similarly (not the mount itself, but how it indexes the barrel) to the AAC M4-2K w/ 51t
