Recently got a SigTac brace -
I've got a 10.5" upper, which, if any, of the buffer tubes will bring me to > 26" OAL? Thanks J-Pat |

Spacers won't count in the OAL - it's only to the back of the tube. For the other guy saying KAK - the Super Tube, or both? Quoted:

KAK with spacers............................... Spacers won't count in the OAL - it's only to the back of the tube. For the other guy saying KAK - the Super Tube, or both? They're both the same length. Either will get you to over 26" with 10.5" barrel. - OS |

whats the need for > 26"s? To legally use a vertical forward grip. - OS so is it not a pistol at that point? i thought the barrel controlled? over 26" and it's just classified as a firearm. |

Over 26" and with VFG it's a "firearm". Take the VFG off and it's a pistol again. Federally, there is no barrel length or overall length limit for classification of a handgun. The 26"/VFG ruling is just a narrow exception within the AOW classification. - OS |
