Well, it happened. After finishing my first AR, I've gone and started the process all over again.
This Time I decided to snag a Sig Pistol Brace before they get 86'd and run a 12.5" system since I primarily shoot within 100 yards where I live (Dense woods) and am looking to run a very lightweight yet reliable system. Here's a Link to my first Build Stag
Here's the Specs (As of 03-29-14) Upper:

yeah there seems to be play in at least the 2 lowers I got from them. I have some orings on the way so it should fix it.
i stuck a wedge in the rear as I shouldnt have to use a screw to adjust tension and it takes alot to get it to work so in that aspect I think its a stupid idea |

i had to go back on one of mine and trim my spring down for the front take down today. i got tired of it being to hard to disengage.i dont know if its the EPP pins or the lower that causes the play.
i put the oring on and the play is gone. hopefully it will stand up to time |

Duffy even sent me a new front takedown pin, but did not fix the issue. So I also trimmed the spring and now it's somewhat manageable yet still difficult to takedown. I have a set of O rings and an Accuwedge on the way so hopefully that will solve the issue for me. Thank you so much for your input, it's nice to know I was not the only out here with these issues. |
