Since I built my 5.56mm pistol and enjoyed it, I decided to build a 9mm pistol also. So far I have:
CMMG stripped lower PSA LPK Hahn Dedicated 9mm Mag Block ACE buffer tube/buffer/spring CMMG ramped bolt 2 Metalform 32 round magazines 
What I need now is an upper. I'm not really so concerned about fixed carry handle vs. flat top, as I'll likely be using mostly iron sights on this anyway. My 5.56mm pistol is a flat top and I have a carry handle on it. I am looking for one that I can buy complete without a bolt. So far the only ones I can find sans bolt are from Model 1 Sales. Are there other options (obviously building the upper is an option, but I am hoping to buy a complete one). Any thoughts on barrel length or twist rate? Thanks! |

I am in process of building a 9mm as well, I decided to go ahead and roll my own.
model one sales has stripped 9mm uppers here, and I decided to go with a 10" barrel from BCM here still not quite sure what handguard setup I am going to use, but when Im done, i'll have exactly what I want and know exactly where parts were sourced from. |
