Wish i would have known about pistols earlier. While waiting for my tax stamp from ATF for my SBR I ordered a Palmetto state armory lower and a spikes pistol tube so I would be legal to order my 11.5 in Daniel Defense upper from ADCO. Shot it today 120 rounds of reloads....flawless and impressively accurate! Love it so much i have a dedicated pistol upper coming in monday from Rainier Arms. its a Adams arms 7.5 in PDW. Not sure I understand why you got another upper? You going to build another pistol only or use the upper for the SBR?
They are WAY more fun to shoot than most people think. Everyone that has shot mine giggles like a girl and by the third round screams out " I HAVE TO GET ONE OF THESE" 
Even my dad whose in his 60s and poo pood on the whole idea of an AR pistol reacted the same way. He loved shooting it with the CMMG .22 conversion even more I think. |

Nice! I run an 11.5" upper on my pistol lower. Soon to be two 11.5" pistols when I finish having my second upper assembled. Haven't gone 7.5" yet simply because I don't feel comfortable enough in my knowledge of that platform to put together a reliable 7.5" upper on my own. You sound like you made a good purchase with a price tag to match! Nice looking DD upper!
