I order an extra DSA Upper and was thinking of doing a Pistol Build, going to send to Adco, to cut to 10.5 and add a Vortex FH, Does anyone see any problems with this built, trying to save money cause a Rock River 10.5" Complete Upper is going for approx. $500 to $550, Any advice/suggestions appreciated, Or should I sell the DSA and get the RRA cause it is 1:7 and DSA is 1:9

I don't see anything wrong with it. But by the time you pay adco to do all the work you need done (unless your going to disassemble the upper for them) your probably going to have about ~ the same money in it. I think your gas port size will need modification IIRC going from 16 to 10.5 |
