I've decided (with you guys' input) to go 10.5" on my pistol build (already have a new Spikes lower with pistol buffer). After much perusing I'm left with:
A)LMT 10.5" upper (yeah, I know they're scare...I AM patient) with some $$$ left over..possible 20" BCM upper money left B)Noveske 10.5" upper...awesome upper but a LOT more $$$ (figure $1K). C)? The Noveske calls to be because..well...I like the best(whether I'll utilize it or not...I'm sure I'm not the only one). But the LMT with some $$$ for a 20" A3 clone build sounds nice too. Opinions, experiences??? This will probably be an irons/dot sight setup once I'm done with it. However, I have the feeling I'm really going to like this rig...it will probably be shot more than my other ARs so I don't want cheap stuff. I'll take quality over quantity any day. But, LMT is supposed be good stuff too. Thanks for the input!! |

I considered, then passed on the high-end uppers due to their not being available in 1:9 twist. Like you I planned on shooting mine alot and wanted the option of shooting the shit out of cheap .22lr ammo with my Ceiner kit. Something you may want to consider....
You can see my recently completed build a few threads down in the "My 10" pistol build is complete" thread. |
