I am building a 9mm pistol but am having trouble deciding on which buffer tube system to go with. I currently have an OLY K23pistol in 5.56, and its stock is just a couple inches too short for me to shoot comfortably. What buffer and tube should I go with? How much longer is a rifle tube, and if I use one, which 9mm buffer should I use to reduce wear on the rest of the gun?

If you've got a system that works, pictures would be great. Thanks,

Bryan.

I just picked up the spikes. It is a solid piece of kit.

I'm sure its great, but is it long. I'm looking for something about an inch and a half longer than the OLY system. Thanks,

Bryan.

huh? the spikes buffer is probably just a little longer than your current buffer tube.then  you are talking about rifle tubes in the OP?  I don't understand what you want.

As in a rifle length buffer tube. I'm not sure how much longer they are than the standard carbine length tubes. Do you have a measurement on different tubes? I don't want to spend $50 because something might be a little longer. Thanks,

Bryan.
