This thread is in reference to the OA K23P AR pistol. Anybody have any info on these? Are they in stores yet? I am in the market for an AR pistol but not really sure which one to get. I have seen photos of this one and it looks REALLY COOL!!! Any info you all can provide will be appreciated! I've had mine for a week now. Have not been to the range yet so I can't comment on how it shoots, but It's a totally awesome looking pistol. I got the flat top model. I've got my OTAL mounted on it right now but I'm thinking about either a Eotech or Aimpoint. Didn't come with a carry handle. Came with an excellent carry case and a CProducts 30rd mag.

bearcatpa, Can you post a review here after you've had a chance to get acquainted with it? I think it looks really nice in .223 WITH the carry handle. I've been doing a lot of research on Olympic Arms and they seem to be very well-made! Please let us know your thoughts in a month or two. THANKS!!! |
17L2, Thanks for posting! Please let us know what you think of it after you take it to the range. Has anyone had a chance to compare it to the Carbon-15? I'm very curious as to how it will stack-up with THAT popular pistol! As always, any info is good info! Take care all! |

The gun guru Will do. I plan to mount an eotech 511 on the pistol due to its shorter length. The gun will also have a quad rail and YHM front sight. Have not yet decided on the rear sight. Will put on a single point sling. as I've talked to others who shoot AR pistols and they say this is the route to go. |

I've been thinking about getting one too. Local gun store has the carry-handle version and the flat-top version. I'm leaning towards the flat-top. The guy I talked to at the store about it also works at Oly arms (about 30 min away) and helped build it and iron out the initial problems. |
That's very cool! Is there a reason that the flat-tops are more popular than the handle? I personally think that the handle looks FAR BETTER than just a plain flat top! Maybe I'm not seeing the bigger picture. Can someone enlighten me? |

That's true. Is it fairly easy to add a handle? Are they all pretty much the same? I had thought about that but wasn't sure how easy (or difficult) it would be to add. Thanks for all the info and help guys!!! |
