Anybody running one on their 308? If so does it help with recoil?

I'm running an SLR on mine.  I can't say that I've noticed any difference in recoil.  I have noticed my brass is not dented any more.

I have an SLR on mine too and definitely noticed a reduction in recoil and I was finally able to shoot more than 1 round at a time without a failure

So in your opinions do you think they are worth it? I have a comp I am going to use also.

Yes it can definitely help with recoil especially if you are overgassed. Yes they are worth it as you tune your rifle to run smooth without having to chase buffer weight and spring combinations especially if running suppressed and unsuppressed.

Great looking set up!  Could you list out your specs including optic and reticle selection.
Thanks

Defiantly put one on your 308. It helps with recoil, but more important set up right it will be easier on the rifle i.e. Parts. They will last longer.

You probably won't notice much in the way of recoil reduction...maybe a slight bit, but there's not many ways to get around the recoil of a 308 without a big ass brake.

That being said, if your rifle runs fine, you don't necessarily need to spend the coin on one.

If you plan to run a silencer on your 308, DEFINITELY get one.  It makes getting your rifle to reliably shoot suppressed/unsuppressed much easier.

My 308 was way over gassed, and I put a Odin Works adjustable gb on it, it cut the recoil down quite a bit. Definitely worth the money.
