| Anybody running one on their 308? If so does it help with recoil? |

I'm running an SLR on mine. I can't say that I've noticed any difference in recoil. I have noticed my brass is not dented any more. http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m248/bjwar10/AR10%20SLR%20Paint%204_zpsbfopmeq6.jpg Thanks |

You probably won't notice much in the way of recoil reduction...maybe a slight bit, but there's not many ways to get around the recoil of a 308 without a big ass brake.
That being said, if your rifle runs fine, you don't necessarily need to spend the coin on one. If you plan to run a silencer on your 308, DEFINITELY get one. It makes getting your rifle to reliably shoot suppressed/unsuppressed much easier. |
