I had an AP4 that shot so well that I converted the barrel to a 24" bull. My rifle is excellent. That looks like a good one.
If it's anything like mine, you'll want to float the barrel to get all the available accuracy. But, it'll be great as is even if you never made a change. |

I have an AP4. Â I put a Geissele SSA in it.
I love it. Â Does what I need it to do. Â My only issues were occasional mag related feeding issues, and have come with metal mags: DPMS, C-Prodcuts, etc. Â When I first got the gun, there were no 308 PMAGs. PMAGs? Â No issues |

I got a new Oracle 308 (Huntsville, AL stamped)not long ago. A lot of the old complaints about the DPMS rifles are fixed. 7000 series aluminum lowers(old ones were 6000 aluminum) My gas key is staked properly. I honestly bought it cause it's the closest thing to a universal 308 AR as you can get and can use Pmags. Plenty of good aftermarket manufactures make things like Bolts and Barrels for them like JP and Fulton
I think the guy's videos are waaaaay to long, but Nutnfancy has some good videos on the DPMS 308's check out his channel on youtube and do search on DPMS SAPR or whatever he calls them. |
