Looking at 308s and came across a Diamondback brand for $900 just wondering if they are gtg?  I know its cheap and you get what you pay for but just want it for a plinker.  Thanks

They got acquired by Taurus and they were never very well reviewed to begin with. Too much risk in my book. Live Free Armory is offering something similar with much better reviews.

Palmetto is starting to roll some new stuff out.. I paid like $680 for mine. I admit, it had to go back but it's been flawless since I got it back. Worth what I paid imho...

Check out the alexander Pro-fab too at Aim

I've had 2 of the live free armory rifles. ran always!! no matter the ammo. cant go wrong with them or the folks in Fl that sale them. great folks.  I ended up with a Adams Arms 308 kept it tho. (just to match my AA ARS's) most of mine were trades and trying different systems. My friend still has one of my live free armory 308s with 2k or so thru it. runs great and still sub MOA so far!
