My 24 inch Black hole 1-9 barrel seems to like the heavier bullets with both the 123 Hornady and the 130 grain Berger doing very well. I love experimenting so I ordered 123 tipped boat tail from Sierra and 130 grain Nosler OT and will compare them.  Of course I'll send pics (If I can find someone who shoots better than me )

Do you mean 130gr Nosler Accubond?

LVR and CFE are go-to powders for the bullets you listed if you want the most velocity.

AR-Comp is the powder to beat for accuracy, followed by 8208 XBR, but I wouldn't load 8208 under 130gr.

Max charge weight for 8208 under 123gr is 28.5gr.  Exceed that and it will spike on you bigtime.

I like 31.2gr of CFE under the 123gr AMAX or SST.  Will load up on the new 123gr ELD-M as I deplete my stacks of 123gr AMAX and SST.

Nosler Custom Competition 123 grain bthp. I may go ahead and put a cannelure .  I have CFE, XBR  8208, TAC, RE17, Varget, 4064,
I 'll most likely get a good load from each so if powder is hard to get in the future I will be able to grab what ever is Available.

IMR 4064 is way slow for Grendel. Can't get enough in the case, too bulky, works better in .308 for sure.

Am I too old school for using Win 748?

It makes my franken grendel a tack driver.

I shoot Sierra Match Kings for target and hunting and the combination is awesome.
