Have an Armalite 10B complete lower I've been sitting on for a while, waiting for inspiration to build a suppressed upper for it.
I've had good experiences with Ballistic Advantage in the past on -15 builds. The barrel linked is dirt cheap, but i don't fully grasp the barrel extension compatibility issues as of yet... Is THIS barrel doable with an AR-10B build? (Obviously to be mated with an appropriate AR-10B compatible upper and the appropriate gas tube...) Thanks in advance... |

Damn good price! Ballistic Advantage's site says it uses a DPMS extension, so an LMT bolt and carrier system will work in a 10B upper. You'll need to know to use a DPMS-length gas tube. I'd buy it just for the cost -- in fact I might buy one just to have a spare. I knew I had read that specific bolt/carrier/tube/extension combos were fine in a 10B upper, just couldn't quite wrap my mind around it - thanks for the clarification! |
