I really was interested in the W3PS chamberings, but I think they sold off. I can't find who bought them, it's like they just died and went away. Anybody have the dope on who w3ps sold to, and if the reaper line is still available?

There was a rumor that they didn't actually get "bought" out but just renamed with the same people who ran W3PS in the ground. It appears that that "deal" fell through and W3PS is still owned and ran by the same people from the beginning. As far as getting product, there are lots and lots of threads and disgruntled people all over the web not happy with not receiving product after paying for them. |

If you are in a hurry to lose your money, keep on the trail of WP3 products. The new (same) company name is Terminal Ballistics, same animal as WP3 apparently. Same horse, different color.
Over on < Another > forums they have a posting about another company, Outdoor Shooters Supply, that has bought the inventory from vendors that WP3 stiffed on payment. I had serious doubts that OSS company who bought their inventory (did not buy it from WP3 but from the people who were never paid by WP3 for the product, therefore they never shipped it to WP3) was legit also until Tony Rumore of TROMIX vouched for them. The new sellers will NOT take any orders and especially NOT ANY MONEY until product is ready to sell which will not be until the late first quarter of next year AT THE EARLIEST. The poster for the company is OutdoorShooter and the company is Outdoor Shooter Supply. They show up at the top of page 11. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK. While I feel a lot better about OSS since TROMIX vouched from them, the REAPER is fruit from the poisoned tree so far as I am concerned. |
