Ok guys,
What do you think of this cleaning system for a LR308 with an 18" Faxon Firearms Heavy Fluted SS barrel. I know it's pricey, but is it worth it. I don't have a problem spending the cash. I mean why not I've already spent +2K so far what's $100 bucks more. Any comments, suggestions welcome Dewey AR10 Cleaning Kit PasoGunner |

I'm using a Sinclair bore guide with Tipton rods. That bore guide doesn't have a solvent port, which equates to useless for me. I also don't like nylon coated rods.
If I had to start over, I'd buy a Bore Tech rod, as the Tipton has a bronze tip which gives you false copper evidence. Which is exactly what every piece of that Dewey kit is going to give you. |
