Hey guys I'm trying to find a handguard for my AP M5 set.
Right now I'm leaning toward the 12" MI M-Lok. So if you have the MI lets see them and if you know of a handguard in the same price range post it up. |

I was looking at the MI and ended up getting a great deal back during Christmas on the UTG Slim Pro. I have the MI on other guns and now I have two with the UTG and couldn't be more pleased with them. Never thought I'd say that about anything UTG made. ;)

| I know the Leapers/UTG stuff often gets a negative slant on being cheap or low performance. I recently saw an Armalite AR10 with that model handguard in the pic, and it was quite impressive surprisingly. And really I guess it wasn't that inexpensive when I looked one up on the internet. The barrel nut and all components appeared high quality. I thought all the UTG stuff was Chinese, but Leaper's site claims it's made in the USA...at least for this handguard...true or not? I was impressed at how slick the handguard blended into the upper. I have two AR10's and both have the relatively inexpensive Magpul MOE handguards...obviously not free floating but way ahead of those OEM clamshell handguards in nice ergonomics and appearance. |
