| I have a dpms oracle in 308. I swapped the barrel for a Rainier arms select, and installed a MI ss series rail. When I line up the the hole for the gas tube, I hit the first hole at about 20 foot pounds, but I cant get to the second hole without over torquing by a lot. What should I do? |

Use plenty of the moly grease and keep torqueing up like you are, going as high as you can go (just don't go over 80) then back off all the way and re-torque. You will eventually line up somewhere between 30-80. I had the same issues when I free floated my DPMS 308. It took me close to a dozen tries. |
