| Does anyone have any idea why the 6.8 Forum is down? |

I was hoping to go lurk over there this morning. Just got in my ARP barrel and superbolt...need some handguard ideas. Diamond head. |

They need to get the forum back up. I am having withdrawals.
Here is a great deal on the UTG 13". I like it way more than my MI SS gen 2 and my Troy Vtac. http://hamlundtactical.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=92_93_95_96&products_id=8004 |

Wonder what barrel nut it uses? |

This seems like the place to go now that 68forums is down STILL!
My newest 6.8 is all finished. I am replacing the MOE HG for the UTG PRO and I have a FH and a thread protector. I scored 4 pounds of 2200 and a two boxes of Barnes 95ttsx. And I have 4 boxes of SSA 85grn frangibles coming for plinking and brass. Should be set for hunting the next couple years at least. Next is a Pistol and suppressor. AL |

I'm putting a black Geissele 13" MK I on my Bison 16" recon. I started a thread on 6.8 about how bison inadvertently sent me a 16" recon when I ordered an 18". But it seems a 16" will fit my needs and build better. What I'm really looking for on 6.8 is info about anyone using the BCM 7.62 Comp. I have the 5.56 version on a BCM 5.56 BFH 16" and really like it. |

It really liked the 110 VMax and is more accurate than I am |

Yep, still down. But it looks like they're making progress. Error messages say it's being upgraded, but I think that's a standard message for rebuild.
I helped start an outdoors board, years back. We weren't big, but had about 500 active members, Then, we paid VBulletin to update our software, at which point it became corrupted. They didn't do a snap or a backup, before they did the upgrade. It was a painful mess, with tons of lost posts and user info, that basically helped put the nail on the coffin for our site. Hope that's not the case with 68forum. Back to 68 related issues. I recently bought the Bushnell 1-4 PST FFP, and I'm really digging it! I bought one for a 300, and now just ordered one for one of my 68s. For $200, with the 1x performance of a red dot and 4x performance and par with things costing 2-3x, how could I lose? FFP makes this scope work in ways I haven't appreciated in other FFP setups. At 1x, the reticle is so small that you can ignore the hash-marks and such. And at 4x, the reticle is big enough that the hash marks are actually useable. really, check this thing out, if you're looking for a close-mid range 68 optic. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AU6EIIY/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
