Hey guys just acquired my first ar 10 in a trade and love it . But trying to figure out what model it is . On the lower all it says is ar10 there's no t no b or a . Is there another way to tell

Congratulations on your new rifle.It would help identify the model if we had a description of its features.Does it have a forward assist? What is the barrel length? Does it have a flash suppressor? What is the barrel made of (stainless or carbon steel).?
If it is not marked as a T or A model,it is almost certainly a B,which accepts Armalite Gen 2 mags,unless it is very old.

Thanks for the reply I found out it was Made in 2009 as a stripped lower and not built by armalite so does that lower in that year accept gen 2 mags
