I'm looking at getting my first 300 upper and was wondering if theres any advantage with a pistol length verses a carbine length in a16" barrel, And most loads will be super sonic since a can is not in the immediate future
thanks

i assume you are referring to the length of the gas system on a 16" long barrel. A pistol length gas system will cycle all loads more reliably. Carbine gas can be really fussy with subsonic loads in terms of cycling and locking back on last round.
