well I bought one of those phase 5 "bad" levers for my 308 and the thing works about as well as gun control, it wont hold the bolt back to save its ass, 50 some bucks down the shitter, their customer service is about the same, I run p-mags and my standard bolt catch works day in and day out no issues. just wanted to give a heads up see if any one else had the issue, even when I manually lock the bolt to the rear one tiny bump to the gun and it will let the bolt fall into battery |

In, I was thinking about getting the magpul version. .. Has anyone had the same issues? I have the magpul one on a 556 gun and it is awesome, but for my 308 I would have had to mod it a little to make it work ( out side of 308 receiver has a weird shape to it ) and I am kinda wishing I would have went that way |

i run them on all my riffles and no issues at all. i dont see why it would not work it is just a stock bolt catch with a lever tig welded on it. ya I know, good question, I shot oh... 50 rounds yester day, in 5 round strings ( loaded the mag 10 times ) and not one single time after the last round did it lock back, and 5 times at least when I tried to lock it back with my shooting finger, the bolt would catch for a second and then fall into batter, doing this all from prone or while trying to stay in a shooting position ya the p-5 bolt catch pissed me off. and yes I have sent them several emails starting last Monday |

I can look into it but why would my last bolt catch work with out any issues if the spring was weak ? Quoted:

Perhaps you have a weak spring That's what I'm starting to think, as well.
I can look into it but why would my last bolt catch work with out any issues if the spring was weak ? Because you had a short bolt catch, not the long lever that fights the spring more |
