I was looking to buy the Sig Sauer 716 Patrol Rifle, I am aware that people have had a problem with the rifle ejecting and or feeding rounds. I was wanting to make sure before I commit to buy one that the problem has been fixed, because I don't want to buy a rifle that will just be a heap of problems.

Thanks

Mine eats everything I have put in it right out of the box. Brown Bear FMJ and SP! Wolf, various Milsurp rounds, Federal XM80, Federal 150 gr SP, Federal match open tip. Mine was good to go! Another friend of mine has one and has had the exact same with his.

I have a fairly new model of it with the SIG buttstock.  No failures to fire, load, or eject.  I did replace the stock trigger with a SSA-E.  I did replace the SIG buttstock with a Magpul CTR to eliminate the wiggle and possible stock noise for hunting.  Mine has proven to be accurate with several loads.

Do you all have the gen 2 716? Or the gen 1. I believe the gen 2 came out within the past year if that helps any.
