1:11 is the standard twist rate for the 90-120 grain fare. The 8.2" we offer now are all in 1:7 twist because in a barrel that short, with velocity being reduced, they will run supersonic loads all day with no problems AND can shoot/stabilize the heavy 150-225 grain subsonic bullets as well.

Unfortunately my $25 pawn shop scope won't adjust vertically. So I have to go spend the money for a good one, and start over. Had failure to eject issues, polished out the chamber a bit. It will eject now but still isn't cycling the next round. Maybe a little more polish. Doesn't act like a gas issue to me. May get some time to work it out a little more tomorrow. |

What length? If so yes they need a good scrubbing. As far as cycling goes, check gas block alignment. If the barrel doesn't have a dimple for rear set screw it is almost always a gas block alignment issue. Otherwise could be other stuff... happy to help. |

Sent my step daughter out with the Wolverine. They drew out for a good area,(Pangiutch, Utah) but with muzzle and bow season already done, I'm not sure if the bucks that are left will be wanting to be seen. I took her out to familiarize her with it. She did alright. She showed me she could have a good probability of a hit out to 200 yds. That's all we could get where we sighted her in. No word today(opening day) so maybe got skunked today, I'm guessing. Been raining so the deer may be bedding down too. I really want her to get one.

Looking like skunked so far. Weather hasn't been good. I think they may go out again in the morning. I just have the 90 TNT for now. I think it will do the job, but a 100gr would probably be better.
My neighbor tells me he's heard a bunch of coyotes by his house. I may have to look into that in the next week or so, when my gun gets back. It's official. We didn't get a deer. She will be heading back home. |

Does anybody have 3-5 rounds of .277 they can send me for ballistic gel testing? I don't really want to buy a 50 round box and that's all I can find in stock right now. |

Nice work sir. That 100gr Nosler Accubond looks nasty. I snagged a 100 of those from JB's a month or so ago, and I'll be using them on whitetail in late December. Thanks for sharing. |

Here is 10mm's Gel test w/ my 8.2" barrel. Someone pease imbed:

Velocities: 110 Pro Hunter: 2038 fps 100 Accubond: 2263 fps 90 grain TNT: 2200 These velocity figures are from single shots, not averages of strings. So, how does that compare to 300 Blk w/ FACTORY ammo and 8.2" barrel? |
