Hello everyone!

I finally got my DMPS .308 together and all the final pieces in place.

I bought this rife in December 2010 Stock from Cabelas. Before the upgrades I was running stock trigger and no free float rail. Just a grip pod with a Weaver KASPA 2.5-10x50mm scope and Burris PEPR quick detach mount.

Since then I have added:

Geissele SSA trigger
13.8" Free Float Troy MRF BattleRail
45deg offset iron sights
Seekins Low Profile Adjustable Gas Block
Spikes Heavy Buffer and Buffer Spring Combo.
kept the same scope with mount.

Now the awesome cerakote job was done by a fellow Arfcommer for the cost of the paint. Cannot thank him enough for that!

I guess you haven't shot it yet?

Took it out for a quick trial yesterday to tune the gas-block and zero the scope. Got 5moa with Czech surplus just messing around. Range was closing and didn't have time to get out the 100rds of Hornady Match I bought for the occasion

The reason I said this is you swapped out for a carbine length buffer, and iirc, unless you have an extended receiver extension, you are going to have feed issues.  Of course if you swapped the RE to an Armalite 308 or Vltor A5 and just didn't list it, then nvm.

Still stock carbine length buffer tube and gas system. I have never had a feed issue with this rifle. I have around 1000 rds through the rifle of all sorts of 308 and 7.62x51. This DPMS has ate everything I have fed it.

Looking good. Am almost done adding parts to my oracle, (scope, trigger, hand guard).

I'm torn between using a Grip-pod or a bipod and LaRue hand stops. I like the sleek look that the bipod and hand stop offers, but like the convenience of the one touch button to deploy the bipod.

looks great..........tried a Grip Pod a few years ago. It is a compromise.
It's a poor bipod and a clunky verticle grip.

Bipod was my choice on my MWS308

If the grip-pod was1.5" shorter it would be perfect. Someone please make that happen!
